Mindy Rubenstein has worked as a journalist since 1998. Publications include the Tampa Bay Times, where she created Faith in Motion, an ongoing series spotlighting people in the community who overcame extreme adversity and went on to accomplish amazing organizations. Her series received a national journalism award for religion writing in the secular media.

She also wrote for Florida Trend, a statewide business magazine; as well as the Atlanta Jewish Times; Chabad.org; Aish.com; Jewish News Service; and others. She continues to write news and essays for various publications online and in print.
